I mentioned something in game but couldn't take the time to really expand on it (I was on the toilet, so I wasn't going to sit there and chat for 20 minutes).
I think it would be helpful if there was info that the alliance could give that you don't find in just the raw data. Sure, I can see the leader boards and weapon stats in like, 5 different places, but it doesn't answer the why questions. The FAQs are great for just starting, but there are more complexities to the game as you get further in.
There are players who have been playing for awhile, and I am sure they have tips and tricks that they can share without giving away all their secrets.
